Artist's Comments

OK; I've start posting photos from my sailing trip again. This one (and Sailing 18) were taken at about the same time, but I couldn't figure out which one I liked better - let me know which one you like better.

Nice shot, angle and lighting is beautiful. I like this better than the other one. This one is more peaceful since your eye goes for the sun's reflection on the water instead of the sun being visibly in your face.

What do i love most about this photo? Is the fact that you can only guess the human sihouette and the boat. also the lighting, it's exactly before the days sets, i love that time.

hmm this one has a different feel, the other was more bright and gungho, this has a steadier solid feel. hehe i dont think that makes much sense :) but i like both anyway

:) That does make sense! And that is a good point. The color tones in the wood I think just give you such a 'heavier' sense in this image, while the brightness of the sun in the other gives such a 'lighter' feel. Nice insight!

:) Thank you so much! Though, it was actually an hour or so after the sun had come up!
